Taking Stock: 4 Months Old

I saw this list on The Daybook, who got it from Pip at Meet me at Mikes. I thought it would be a great new way of marking each new month with the Munchie!

Making : Lots of milk
Cooking : Nothing, we’ve been ordering a lot of delivery.
Drinking : As much water as I can remember to drink
Reading: Emails
Wanting: More time
Looking: For new fall boots
Playing: Peek a boo!
Wasting: Money on groceries when we only order delivery!
Sewing: Nothing, ain’t no one got time for that!
Wishing:  Austin’s cough would go away completely.
Enjoying: The noises Austin has been making lately and as always bath time.
Waiting: For Austin to start sleeping more. Still waking up 2 times a night at least and several times a night to give him his paci and cuddle him back to sleep.
Liking: Getting into work earlier and skipping out on all the traffic.
Wondering:  How my new haircut and highlights will look this weekend. More layers and toning down the blonde to a medium ash blonde.
Loving: The professional successes my husband and I have been having. (Two new promotions!)
Hoping:  That the Capitol Police can further prove a better reason to have shot and killed that woman yesterday.
Marveling: At Austins adorable faux hawk that won’t go down and his deep baby blues.
Needing: Some new flats for the walking part of my commute. Flip flop season is almost over. I think I am going to finally buy these.
Smelling: Burts Bee’s baby lotion smells like happiness
Wearing: Some new work clothes very soon!
Following: More news on Twitter. I deactivated my personal Facebook account and I’ve been spending more time on Twitter.
Noticing: How much more I get done now that I’m off Facebook.
Knowing: That I am so very lucky for the love that I have at home and successes I have in my professional life. Blessed.
Thinking: What does the Fox say?
Bookmarking: This blog
Opening: New packages of size 3 diapers instead of size 2
Giggling: At Austin’s new found voice
Excited that it’s Friday

I’ve totally been thinking about deactivating my personal FB as well. How do you do that with a page linked to your personal account? I don’t know if that’s how your That’s So Michelle is done, but my Made in Sonoma page is linked through my personal, like I don’t have a separate password for them.

I was worried about that too but I just made my husband and my best friend admins of the page and sign in using their account to upload my posts! 🙂 I honestly don’t miss FB at all yet!

I can’t even handle how adorable Austin is. Also great name!! God he’s such a cutie pie. Also wow taking the leap of deactivating your fb account. I think I would feel so disconnected with out it.

Thank you! 🙂 I thought I would feel disconnect too but you find out that you stay in touch and keep up with the people that really matter in your life. You don’t even notice that you don’t know what’s going on with the 300 other people that you never talked to anyway! ha
