Cookie Dough Pudding Shots (and some exciting news!)
My husbands little cousin loves cookie dough. This summer when we were all at the beach she actually did something called the “cookie dough dance” where she wiggled her hands and hips back and forth and sang:
“Cookie dough dance, cookie dough dance” It was actually pretty catchy (and also really darn cute).
Kids are definitely not the only ones who love cookie dough. I made a batch just for this recipe so I could get the flavors right and it’s still calling to me from the fridge.
These pudding shots are buttery, brown sugary, chocolaty and boozy. They are sure to make you do your own little cookie dough dance.
And now for my big news. (Drum-roll) I came up with this pudding shot while I was brain storming dozens and dozens of new jello shot ideas.
Why was I coming up so many new ideas?
Well… I am so excited to tell you that I am working on a book! A jello shot book! It’s going to be a busy boozy summer my friends. Stay tuned. 🙂
Cookie Dough Pudding Shots (Makes about 18 shots)
1 box (3.4 oz) of instant vanilla or French vanilla pudding
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter extract (imitation butter flavor like this. You can find it next to the vanilla in most large grocery stores)
1/4 cup Butterscotch Schnapps
1/2 cup good quality Vodka (kick it up a notch and use Pinnacle’s cookie dough flavor!)
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup mini chocolate chip morsels
8 oz container of cool whip (thawed)
Whipped cream for topping
1. Mix your pudding and milk in a large bowl with an electric mixer until combined. Will look semi thick.
2. Add your schnapps, vodka and cool whip. Fold these ingredients into the pudding mixture until combined. (Don’t over mix it, just make sure there are no lumps)
3. Next fold in your butter extract, chocolate chips and brown sugar. Place in the refrigerator to let it thicken up some more.
4. Poor into shot glasses and top with whipped cream and more chocolate chips.
