Cherry Beer-Garita Popsicles

Have you noticed a theme lately? (Boozy, boozy, boozy?)

Because I have to save my new jello shot creations for the book I decided to come up with boozy party treats to try and appease your appetite instead.

Boozy desserts, shakes, drinks and snacks non stop. This recipe is my first ever boozy popsicle and it’s amazing.

It’s sweet, tart and tequila flavored, the perfect drink (popsicle) to kick off warm weather and celebrate Cinco de Mayo!

I’m taking boozy suggestions, any requests?

Cherry Beer-Garita Popsicles
12 oz. can frozen limeade concentrate or frozen margarita concentrate
12 oz. clear cherry flavored soda or seltzer
12 oz. bottle of Corona Light
6 oz. of your favorite tequila
1 lime sliced
6 sliced maraschino cherries
Splash of maraschino cherry juice (or grenadine) for color and flavor
(I use these popsicle molds)

1. In a large pitcher mix, Corona, cherry soda, tequila, limeade concentrate and cherry juice.

2. Pour cherry beer-garita mix into your popsicle molds leaving a little bit of room at the top. Carefully place your lime slices and cherries into the molds as well.

3. Freeze overnight or for at least 6 hours. Enjoy responsibly!
