Easy Cranberry Party Punch
We don’t get to socialize with other adults that often. Welcome to life with a toddler (without parents that live near by to babysit). So when Ericka text messaged me last weekend asking if her and her husband Rick could come over and hang out I got so excited.
I immediately decided I was going to make a special girly and seasonal cocktail for us.
The trick to all the flavor in this punch is the simmered cranberries. Which sounds pretty fancy even though it’s super easy. Extra points.
The color is gorgeous too, bright and bold. (I didn’t mention it after my redesign but I probably should have. My logo is a lemon twist, just like this one. See the resemblance?)
I made a whole bowl for Ericka and I and we hardly put a dent in it. No worries though, I put it in a pitcher in the fridge and was able to enjoy it all week (don’t judge).
Cheers to friends stopping by. Someone else needs to this weekend so I have an excuse to make more!

Easy Cranberry Party Punch
Yield: 4 quarts
Prep Time: 2
Cook Time: 20
Total Time: 22 mins
Ingredients:
- 1.5 Liter Bottle of Barefoot Moscato
- 1 Liter Lemon Lime Seltzer
- Cranberry Juice (64 oz. bottle) I used cranberry pomegranate!
- 1 cup white rum or flavored vodka
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
Directions:
Step 1: Pour your cranberries in a medium sized sauce pan and turn on medium to high heat. Add your sugar and water and stir. Put a lid on the sauce pan.
Step 2: Pour your moscato, seltzer, cranberry juice and rum in to a punch bowl or gallon pitcher.
Step 3: When cranberries have burst open and the water and sugar have thickened turn off the heat.
Step 4: Add the cranberries and the sauce with it to your punch bowl or pitcher. Stir and then chill. If you want to serve it immediately (I did!) I few ice cubes in your punch glass will cool it down enough to serve.
This looks perfect for Thanksgiving! I can’t wait to whip up a batch!
